New Bag Policy: Charges for Bags Now at Our Locations

In compliance with government policy, we will now be charging for bags at our branches.

Many items come with sufficient packaging from suppliers, so you may not need an additional bag. However, if you anticipate needing one, we encourage you to bring your own.

At E.B. Horsman, we are committed to reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainability. We appreciate your understanding and support as we adopt these changes.

As of July 15, 2024, B.C. businesses must charge a fee for new reusable and new paper bags.

What does this mean for you?

Bring Your Own Bags: We encourage all customers to bring their reusable bags to our stores. Reusable bags are a great way to reduce waste and are more durable for carrying your items.
Bag Charges: If you forget your reusable bags, don’t worry! We will have bags available for purchase. A small fee will be charged per bag to encourage the use of reusable options and to help cover the costs of providing bags.
